This study analyzed information utilization on the medicinal values of quail eggs among the rural dwellers in Oyo State, Nigeria. Data were collected using interview schedule administered to 126 respondents selected through a multi-stage sampling procedure. Results reveal that majority of respondents had access to information on the medicinal values of quail eggs for the treatment of obesity, hypertension, malnutrition, and ulcer. Whereas on the information utilization, over half of the respondents did not utilize information for the treatment of blood pressure, and stunted growth. There was a significant relationship between age (r = -0.250, P< 0.05), annual income (r = 0.048, P< 0.05), and utilization of information on the medicinal values of quail eggs. It is recommended that stakeholders in information dissemination should ensure that useful health information on medicinal value of quail egg is spread promptly to rural areas.
