    The Journal of Current Discourse and Research, an official publication of the National Association of Women in Academics, Ekiti State University Chapter, provides a platform for the dissemination of current research findings across all fields of academic endeavor. The journal focuses on double-blind review process. It is published in both print and online forms.

    The articles in this volume reflect diverse research outputs that only a journal of such a multidisciplinary nature can accommodate. The articles have been organized according to the disciplinary focus of their respective contents.

    CALL FOR PAPERS

     

    Journal of Current Discourse and Research (JCDR) accepts papers across all disciplines of academic endeavour, including the humanities, education, management, natural sciences, and law. The journal is published annually by the NAWACS EKSU Chapter. Papers are accepted throughout the year.

    The Journal of Current Discourse and Research is domiciled at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. Papers intended for publication may be written in English or in any other official or indigenous Nigerian language.

     

    GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS

    1. The title of the paper and subheadings should be highlighted and clearly stated.
    2. The abstract should not exceed 200 italicised words and should include a maximum of six keywords. The paper should focus on the purpose, literature, methodology, findings, and recommendations, and should not exceed 12 pages.
    3. Manuscripts should not be more than 12 pages on A4-size paper, typed in Microsoft Word, double-spaced, using Times New Roman, 12-point font.
    4. The author(s) name(s) must appear in full on the first page, indicating designation, affiliation, and contact details such as email address and GSM number.
    5. Tables should be clearly typed using the MS Word table template. All illustrations (photographs, drawings, graphs, etc.), excluding tables, should be labelled as figures. Figures and tables should be presented to one decimal place, and levels of significance clearly stated where applicable.
    6. The 6th edition of the APA referencing style must be followed. Visit apastyle.org for guidance.
    7. Notification of acceptance will be communicated within two weeks of paper submission.
    8. Only original articles that have not been published elsewhere are acceptable.
