The Nigerian Journal of Banking and Financial Issues (NJBFI) provides a unique forum for the articulation and dissemination of applied research by academics and professionals in the field of Banking and Finance or related disciplines. It is a bi-annual Journal published by the Department of Finance, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria.
Interested contributors are invited to submit well researched papers which have not been published either in whole or part in any journal.
- Three copies of the manuscript should be submitted, each copy of which must be typed on one
side of A4 sized paper only and double spaced.
- Manuscript should not exceed twenty pages, including notes, references, table and chart.
- The cover page of each manuscript should contain title of papers, names(s) and additional
authors(s).and affliations.
- An abstract of not more than 120 words typed single spaced on a separate sheet preceding the
main text. The short abstract should summarize the main argument of the article.
- Bibliographical references should be indicated in the text using the author date style with page
numbers where necessary. All reference must adopt America psychological Associate (APA)
7th edition and reference pattern.
- Table and charts should be placed as close as possible to relevant discussion.
- Manuscript which do not conform to these guidelines may be returned unprocessed.

EKSU Journal of the Management Scientists
Vol. 3 No. 1 (2024)EKSU Journal of the Management Scientists (ejms), is a bi-annual journal and one of the official journals of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. The journal is published both in hard and soft copies. As a university-based journal, it is also a double blind peer reviewed journal that publishes theoretical, empirical and experimental papers that contribute significantly to the disciplines of Management Sciences and Economics. These we achieve by using a wide range of research methods including statistical analysis, analytical work, case studies, field research, literature surveys and historical analysis. Articles examining significant research questions from a broad range in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, Insurance, Education and other related fields are encouraged to be sent.
All papers are subjected to peer-review by members of the editorial board or other senior academics by the use of double blind peer review system. If accepted, the papers will be published in the issue of the current volume. The journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general scope and criteria of publication of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria.
Our peer-review is highly rigorous and but takes just a few weeks. Authors are carried along adequately in all the publication processes.
Procedure for the submission of manuscripts
Manuscripts should be submitted online as attachment via the journal’s email address: ejms.fms@eksu.edu.ng
Upon receipt of manuscripts, the Managing Editor sends an e-mail of confirmation to the corresponding author within 1-2 working days. In absence of a confirmation email, you are advised to contact the Editor via these phone numbers: 002348033881329 and 002348074968285
Fees and Charges
An author is made to pay a non-refundable processing and handling fee of $10 USD or N5,000= only, the receipt of which must be sent to the journal email address along with the manuscript as attachments.
Upon acceptance of the article, an author is made to pay a publication fee of $50 USD or N20,000= only, the receipt of which must also be sent to the journal email address along with the corrected manuscript as attachments.
